How this ranch got here
Pat grew up around cattle. His father was a veterinarian in Nebraska; Pat became the second-generation rancher. He and Pam had four boys. With four boys to raise, they decided to raise them on a ranch.
It started small — helping a neighbor, running a few head. It grew into a US Forest Service lease and private ground in the White Mountains. The herd began commercial Black Angus and converted, over years, to Registered Black Angus. The cow/calf side came first. AAA bull breeding came later.
The boys are grown now. They still come home to help when the work is heavy. That's what "Four of a Kind" means.
The ranch runs on the same values the boys were raised on — do the work, tell the truth, take care of the animals. Nothing more complicated than that.

What the ranch promises
First-rate cattle. Beef we'd feed our own family. Animals treated well from birth to harvest. Straight answers to any question a customer or another rancher asks. That's it — that's the whole thing.
